🔄 Change is a continuous process that is woven through our daily actions, and in that weave, solidarity, sustainability and collective memory play a crucial role. As our beloved Simone de Beauvoir said, “You are not born a woman: you become one”, a reflection that not only addresses the construction of female identity, but also illuminates how social transformations are the result of shared efforts that challenge dominant structures. Thus, change is not a given, but a collective construction, a process in which every action, no matter how small, has the power to transform realities and challenge the established.

📬 The three projects that we present in this newsletter, although different in form, share this same spirit of transformation that the Goteo team loves so much. Like the identity that is built step by step, these projects seek, from the ground up, to generate a tangible impact on our society, acting with social justice, respect for the environment and visibility for those whose voices have been silenced throughout history. New Rebiciclem 2.0 Bicycles

🚲 Biciclot, a project that promotes sustainable mobility and circular economy, launches a new campaign to produce Rebiciclem 2.0 bicycles. These reused and recycled bicycles are created from abandoned models, contributing to the environment and responsible consumption. With more than 30 years of experience, Biciclot is committed to transform cities through the bicycle as a tool for social change.

🚀 The project aims to produce 300 Rebiciclem 2.0 bicycles by 2025, but to make it possible, they need your support. The campaign seeks to fund the first steps of the production process, from materials to final design.

Veguiterraneo reopens the tavern in the new Villana de Vallekas!

🌱 Veguiterráneo, the vegan and organic catering cooperative, has reopened its tavern in the new premises of the Villana de Vallekas. After finishing the works of this renovated space, the tavern is ready to offer a more spacious, comfortable and equipped dining experience, with a large capacity industrial kitchen.

👉🏼 Through the financing of this campaign, the cooperative seeks to expand its gastronomic offer, reach more neighbors in Vallekas and continue promoting vegan, organic and local cuisine. In order to meet these new challenges, such as the cost of the premises and the acquisition of new utensils and equipment, they need your help.

Forgotten women World War II

✊🏽 This project aims to make visible the stories of women during World War II, who, despite their vital contribution on the battlefront and at home, have been historically silenced. Through real testimonies and rigorous historical research, the book seeks to highlight the courage and bravery of women such as Maria Vasilyevna Oktyabrskaia, the Soviet woman who built and drove a tank in revenge for her husband's death in combat.

💜 The campaign highlights how women defied traditional gender roles, taking on crucial responsibilities for the war effort and rebuilding society.
