In 20 days we have reached the minimum funding!!

25 | 07 | 2013

It is only 20 days ago that we started this crowdfunding campaign and we have already exceeded the minimum funding needed to move forward with the project!!!

I would like to thank all the people that have showed their support these days, not only for the financial support, but for all the interest expressed by an overwhelming amount of people to collaborate with the translations and the upcoming investigations that, from the Stop Rubber Bullets Association, we want to carry out in order to bring into the spotlight the stories of those affected by these projectiles. At the moment we are already 135 crowdfunders to make possible that this violation of human rights reaches the Court in Strasbourg. Now we have to keep working, keep informing our friends and contacts about this issue. Last week, Nicola Tanno, a member of our association, has seen his complaint filed away by the Investigating Court no. 27 of Barcelona arguing that it was not possible to identify the policeman that shot at him, bursting his eyeball, back in 2010. From these lines, I want to encourage him to keep fighting. And I am even more certain now that all of us we have to keep working and keep fighting against rubber bullets and police impunity.

Thanks a lot to all of you.
